Journalist from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and Art Historian from The Art Institute of Chicago. She has written for El País for 27 years. There she hosts the design and architecture blog “Del tirador a la ciudad”. She is the author of two dozen books, including “The New Spanish Architecture”, “Las Casas del siglo” and “Vidas Construidas”. She has curated exhibitions such as Minimalismos (MNCARS, 2001) or Máscara y Espejo (MACBA, 1997) and the Spanish representation at the Ibero-American Architecture Biennial held in Medellín in 2008. She has been a guest lecturer at the European University of Madrid and at the Elisava School. She has also been a jury member for awards such as the National Design Award, the FAD, the National Photography Award, the Barcelona City Council Awards, the Madrid City Council Awards and the Gold Medal for Architecture.
