Christian Schallert will talk about how he became a hotelier without even planning it. A very personal presentation about how the photographer started making postcards and how he entered the world of hospitality in a very fresh and almost naively innocent way. It is about the importance of being open to new challenges and taking risks without fear of failure. It is also about not being intimidated by competition, but sticking to your own rules, tastes and desires. Christian will briefly present the 2 properties he manages in Spain, and then focus on the recently inaugurated Maison Brummell Majorelle project. Architect Bergendy Cooke, who is responsible for the architecture and interior design of the hotel, will join him to explain this wild journey, their visions, the challenges, the concept and the final result.
