Graduate in Art History from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1990), with a postgraduate degree from Columbia University (NYC) in History of Modern Architecture, and studies at Parsons School of Design (NYC) (1990-1992). She has been coordinator of the The Journal of Art magazine (New York 1990-1992); director of the Diseño Interior magazine (Madrid 1992-1996); coordinator of the Room by Ikea magazine (London 1999-2002) and founder and director of the Arquitectura y Diseño magazine (Barcelona 1999-2022). She has also been International Editorial Director of RBA Revistas, leading the launch of History National Geographic magazine (2014). Since 2022 she has been a partner in the design studio Mario Ruiz Design (National Design Award 2016). She has been on the jury of several design awards, written articles on design and architecture for various publications, and given several talks on design.
