Faidra studied Architecture at the University of Manchester, UK (Bachelor with Honors), and at the University of Edinburgh, UK (Master of Architecture), where she graduated with Distinction in 2004. She received several awards and recognitions as a student. She completed her Master's in Emergency Sustainable Architecture at the International University of Catalonia, Spain, in 2011. In addition to other practices, Faidra worked for the Richard Rogers Partnership in London for 3 years (2005-2007), where she gained valuable experience. At the same time, she collaborated with Non-Governmental Organizations such as ECOWEEK, where she was the Lead Organizer of the International Conference and Architecture, Sustainability, and Community Workshops (2009-2011). She also collaborated with the Green Belt Movement in Nairobi, Kenya, for the creation of an environmental visitor center and worked on the reconstruction of a school in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, with Basic Initiative.
