Italian architect and urban planner. She obtained her PhD in Urban Planning at IUAV (Venice), the Master in Advanced Architecture at IAAC (Barcelona), her university degree in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano (Milan), and studied for one year at ETSAB (Barcelona) thanks to the Erasmus Programme. Her research focuses on environmental planning and design. Currently, Chiara Farinea is Head of European Projects in the Department of Advanced Architecture at IAAC, and her position includes being coordinator and scientific personnel in several EU projects focused on education, research, development and implementation, and being a lecturer in IAAC's educational programmes.
