Industrial technical engineer and master in marketing management by ESADE, Abel has been linked to the hospitality and hotel sector for more than 10 years. Particularly in this last stage, he has been responsible for the Hospitality division at Simon's Iberia level for 5 years.
Simon is the head of an industrial group specialising in technological solutions for lighting, lighting control, connectivity and electrical material for contract and residential projects. For all these spaces, a firm commitment to design and innovation is maintained, which has led Simon, precisely in the year of its first centenary, to the National Design Prize awarded by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness. After positioning itself as a leader in the Spanish market, the company has consolidated its presence in more than 90 countries from where it promotes business areas ranging from small electrical equipment to control systems, connectivity, architectural, interior and urban lighting, and electric vehicle charging.
